Susan + Jay’s Sandy Hook NJ Engagement

I felt so lucky that Susan + Jay shared with me such a special place to them. This is where they spend their time off together, bicycling around Sandy Hook National Recreation Park and packing a picnic to eat on their rock. All of this is done inbetween enjoying live music together. They showed me every spot that was special to them, and even where Jay proposed during a firework display. The best part is they’re coming back here to get married at the Chapel (seen towards the end). I’m so excited to come back to the place that is so loved by these two and continue to document their love story.

Sandy Hook Chapel is a great, laid back venue located right near the water which is always filled with boats. And surrounded by pretty views everywhere you look. It kind of gives the illusion that you aren’t in NJ. There’s also a bar/restaurant right across the water which is perfect to head over and celebrate.
