North Jersey Spring Green House Elopement
When Jennifer & Michael reached out to me asking me if I wanted to photograph their Green House Wedding I was beyond stoked. I recently picked up a hobby with plants and it has pretty much consumed me. I even bought 6 different plants after their wedding at The Herbary at Bear Creek Farm. I couldn’t help myself.
Their wedding was on a chilly, windy March day. Despite the weather being chilly it didn’t seem to make any difference. The two of them were so excited to be married to each other. As I took photos of Jennifer twirling around in her wedding dress, Michael was behind me taking a video of the whole thing. It was really cute. I love how these photos came out looking dreamy. It was what I had in mind for the two of them since we initially spoke. Beforehand I always try to map out how I’ll photograph a wedding based on them as a couple. I try to make it as personal of an experience as possible. My goal is to always show the uniqueness of them.
I also loved how intimate their whole ceremony was; every word Judith Saraguro (their wedding officiant from Ceremony Celebrants) spoke about love, marriage and commitment was so perfectly put and genuine that everyone felt the love Jennifer and Michael shared. There’s something really sweet and romantic about keeping sharing your vows in front of those closest to you. I hope to do more smaller weddings in the future.
I also hope that everyone is doing okay out there during this covid-19 madness. If you have any questions about how this may affect your wedding please reach out. Stay safe.
